The Cholan Empire was the oldest and second largest nation in Season 5 led by IcyMC_ and formerly seurator1527, it prided itself on its advanced Slimefun technology and its highly effective Air Force.
The nation was the first created in Season 5.
The mainland of the Cholan Empire was located mainly in India, with other parts in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
The Cholan Empire had one Special Administrative Region (Borneo) led by Blxse, and one colonial possession (Tasmania).
The Cholan Empire had the largest navy of any nation in Season 5 (The Cholan Imperial Navy), however following an attack on its fleet and the collapse of the nation, the Deutsche Kriegsmarine has inherited it.

History[]
The Cholan Empire was created in the last weeks of Season 4. After enjoying working together in Season 4 and on other Geopols, seurator1527 invited IcyMC_ and Playre3 to form a small Indian nation for Season 5. The Empire grew rapidly upon release, developing settlements at Kovai, the Sunderbans, and Borneo. Thanks to the combined might of IcyMC_, seurator1527, and especially Playre3, the nation built the largest Slimefun dust farm in history. The nation was centered around The Citadel, a large hill that was turned into a fortified castle that included a basic residency, storage area, and massive underground slimefun vault.
However, due to being busy in real life, seurator1527 soon had to relinquish his role as leader of the Cholan Empire to IcyMC_. Seurator1527 moved out of Kovai, instead choosing to focus on the building of his Grand Temple at Jaffna.
After a few months of the nation's founding, the formerly 19-strong nation soon began dealing with issues of inactivity (as did the server as a whole). Consequently, a decision was made to disband the nation. Kovai and Sri Lanka were retained in a small Sri Lankan rump state led by Sk3o and including seurator1527. IcyMC_ joined the German Empire, taking his Cholan aircraft carriers with him.
The Cholan-Australian Aerial Conflict[]
The Cholan-Australian Air Battle was an aerial encounter with 2 delinquents that were found in Cholan airspace, named KLDragon and puppy_lover153. The fiasco started at 10:07am BST on the 20th of August 2020.
At 10:07am BST KLDragon and puppy_lover153 were detected over Sumatra by Cholan Air Traffic Control in Kovai, it was determined that the two were directly approaching Kovai and IcyMC_ was dispached in a P-61 to warn and eventually intercept the two. A total of 5 warnings were given to the aircraft and its two occupants but they continued to approach Cholan Airspace, this led to the scrambling of two more P-61s flown by seurator1527 and Blxse.
The target was designated a threat and successfully intercepted and flown out of Cholan Airspace by the Cholan-Bornean Air Force (CBAF). The CBAF continued to fly next to the target and forced it to crash land on the Arabian Peninsula, killing the two targets who were then interrogated.
During the interrogation, Mudkip557 arrived and attempted to attack IcyMC_ who swiftly killed Mudkip whose AK-47 was impounded, during this KLDragon attempted to escape leading to another dispatch of the CBAF. After a few minutes KLDragon was once more forced to land and a small skirmish ensued. The Air Force of the Indo Empire also flew to the Arabian Peninsula to assist, we thank them greatly.
As the CBAF returned to Chola, KLDragon attempted to breach Bornean Airspace by flying from China, the attempt was quickly realised and Blxse was dispatched from Borneo and soon assisted by IcyMC_ and seurator1527 who were scrambled from the IndoEmpire. KLDragon was forced to land for a third time, demonstrating the effectiveness of the CBAF, another talk ensued where Mudkip557 once again attempted to kill members of the CBAF and once again killed by IcyMC_. Unfortunately KLDragon used a cloaking device to evade our capture once more.
A fourth attempt to undermine the CBAF was discovered as KLDragon attempted to flee the temporary jail constructed for them during talks in the Cholan capital Kovai, the escapee only made it 30 blocks before being dispatched by IcyMC_. Mudkip557 then attempted to enter the restricted area of the Citadel and also attempted to evade capture by seurator1527 and so was used as a test dummy for Chola's newly bought explosives, which proved highly effective.
At least 17 Australian deaths and 0 Cholan deaths were recorded from 10:07am to 10:54am BST. The encounter was unprecedented but the first great show of the amazing skill of the CBAF and its ally the IndoEmpire. Hopefully this great victory brings patriotism into every Cholan heart.
Australia is attempting to say that they won the conflict as they "achieved their goal" of reaching Korea. Cholan officer "Blxse" then responded by saying that the problem was solved when they were both detained and said that "17 to 0 deaths doesn't sound like a win to me".
Ultimately, both sides can claim that they won the conflict, but looking at the statistics and how the situation was dealt with, the Cholan Empire clearly won the conflict, since the entire "reaching Korea" situation wasn't the Cholan Empire's problem.
