Cholan Imperial Navy[]

The Cholan Imperial Navy (CIN) was the largest department of the Cholan Armed Forces in terms of funding and equipment, it was formed on the 10th of September, 2020 by the order of IcyMC_ and was allocated a budget of $25 million. This budget was later repurposed for a large infrastructure project elsewhere in the nation.

The CIN aimed to be the largest navy within a month of its founding with ambitious plans for a six strong aircraft carrier fleet and a number of support vessels putting it on course to become the largest and most formidable navy in history.

Following a cyber and large scale nuclear attack on the Port of the Sundarbans, two of the three completed vessels of the CIN were destroyed and shortly after the Cholan Empire collapsed. One aircraft carrier (CES Dhaka) remains intact and there are plans by the German Empire to repair the other vessels.

Port of the Sundarbans[]

The Cholan Fleet is based out of the Port of the Sundarbans, a multi-million dollar, state of the art port in the Sundarban region of the Cholan Empire. The port is specially designed to hold at least six aircraft carriers and their support vessels and is lined with a number of facilities and reinforced bunkers.

It also has a civilian section which allows for easy access to the Cholan National Stadium and Sundarban City, this section is disconnected to the main naval base for security and health and safety reasons.

Attack on the Port of the Sundarbans[]

During a trip abroad by the Commanding Officer of the CIN (IcyMC_) an unprovoked, premeditated cyber and nuclear attack was conducted on the home port of the Cholan Fleet by the KingdomOfNorway resulting in the destruction of two thirds of its fleet and its eventual disbandment, this was one of the reasons behind the collapse of the Cholan Empire.

Two nuclear warheads were able to penetrate the defenses of the port, hitting CES Sundarban and CES Kolkata resulting in the partial and total destruction of either ship respectively. CES Dhaka managed to remain undamaged during the attack due to the malfunction of the third warhead, which splashed down into the Bay of Bengal 19 kilometres from the ship.
