Istanbul, or İstanbul (in Turkish), was a middle eastern settlement on the Bosphorus strait between Europe and Asia, the settlement was a result of the migration of the people of the Republic of Palestine who left the previous settlement in order to find more liveable and fertile land. Upon reaching the land, technology previously developed in Palestine was used once again in Istanbul in order to create powerful armour and powerful weapons in order to defend itself. This technology development also included a plan to build an Iron-Dome style defense system across the entirety of Turkey.

The Dissolution of Istanbul[]
However, the leader Blxse quickly realised that the nation had to build up it's wealth in order to sustain itself and did this through farming, building large scale Wheat, Pumpkin, Cow and Chicken farms in the Asian district of Istanbul, this helped create a mass amount of wealth and helped the country expand into the Eastern parts of Turkey. However, this quick wealth and expansion would soon come to an end as Benon, a player deemed the Deputy Secretary of Slimefun for Istanbul failed to meet the demands of the leader and was expelled from the nation forcibly. This was a major setback for the nation as Head Secretary of Slimefun for Istanbul "Pie" also had failed to reach demands for Slimefun and had also been expelled from the nation. This candidly, caused the collapse of Istanbul as the technology was so far behind that it would be impossible for Istanbul to develop technology quick enough to make up for these expulsions.
Creation of Palestine and the change to Istanbul[]
The Republic of Palestine, or simply known as Palestine was the original settlement for citizens of Istanbul, firstly the leader Blxse was re-invited to Globia after a long ~3 years away after being banned permanently by a reckless owner. Blxse had established Palestine quickly and had quite a decent majority of the area claimed, however, upon calling upon Benon, who would later become the Deputy Secretary of Slimefun for Istanbul, was quick to move further up north towards Turkey, or what was planned to be the Ottoman Empire. Benon was entirely set on establishing his own nation apart from Blxse, who had control over Palestine, but was diplomatically convinced by Blxse to join Palestine and they would then establish the Ottoman Empire, however, plans started out small. Since the population of Palestine was quite small even with Benon included, there was nowhere near enough power to claim the entirety of Turkey, so they settled on just Istanbul.
Blxse' defection to Norway[]
The leader of Istanbul's plan was to liquify all of Istanbul's assets and remain in exile for a long time, but this did not happen, Blxse was quickly found defecting to Norway, but strictly to build cities, this was something he was unable to do in Istanbul due to a lack of resources and money. A lot of assets were liquified in order to stop people from taking assets after the settlement was dissolved, this includes a four storey wheat farm, a cow farm, a chicken farm, countless slimefun items and machines, ores & smelted ore products, armour and weapons and a large-scale pumpkin farm. Although it was unlikely for people to scrounge for items around Istanbul in order to pick from a dead carcass, Blxse believed he should do this anyway to prevent it from happening in the first place, this resulted in him losing his personal armour, tools and weapons (as he had planned to exile himself).
