The Sino-Lotus war was the first war of Season 6, and was the culmination of two weeks of tensions between the Lotus Confederacy and the People's Republic of China. It was fought by the Lotus Alliance (composed of the Lotus Confederacy, Antarctica, the United Kingdom and the United States) against China.
Prelude to the war[]
On the 3rd of March 2021, China was founded and they claimed the Shandong Peninsula. This claim resulted in angery reactions from the Lotus Confederacy and the international community as it mean the Shanghai - Dalian iceway was now in Chinese land. The new Chinese nation also interfered with Lotisian expansion plans. China made repeated claims that the Lotus Confederacy was a "Special Administrative Region" of China, these claims were fiercely denied by the Emperor and by all MPs of the Lotisian Parliament.
On the 6th of March 2021, a vote was held by the Lotisian Parliament during the first Parliamentary Session on whether or not to declare war upon China. The MPs voted unanimously to declare war.

Chinese scorched earth tactics[]
Following the declaration of war by Lotisian Emperor IcyMC_, the Chinese leadership enacted a scorched earth policy and destroyed their capital city prior to the imminent invasion by Lotisian forces. This policy hampered the plans by the Lotus Confederacy to capture the city with no damage to it. The destruction of the capital mainly focused around the central area of the city and the large sugarcane farm housed within one of the buildings.
On a smaller scale, the scorched earth policy targeted the iceway line from Shanghai to Dalian, this was seemingly an attempt by China to slow the invasion by the Lotus Alliance. However this action had no impact on the invasion and would only have affected any Chinese invasion force's ability to invade the Lotus Confederacy.
Invasion of China[]
At 7pm GMT, 3 divisions of the Lotus Alliance began their invasion of the Shandong Peninsula. Each divison invaded from a different direction, one from Dalian, one from Taipei and one from Beijing. At 7:02pm GMT, the 3 offensive divisions succeeded in destroying the Chinese army and began capturing the Chinese capital. Following the quicker than expected success of the initial invasion, all 3 defensive divisions were told to converge on the Chinese capital at 7:03pm GMT as no defence was needed of the Lotisian landmarks or capital. During the capture of China, the Chinese Chairman hatersgonnahate8 was crucified.
Following the successful capture of the Chinese capital at 7:12pm GMT, the Lotus Alliance were declared victors of the Sino-Lotus war ending two weeks of uncertainty and conflict in the East Asian region.
Treaty of Beijing[]
Treaty of Beijing
- China's territory is absorbed by the Lotus Confederacy as they are now no more
- Payment of $1,750,000 in war reparations collectively by hatersgonnahate8 and Potatomanbrah
- This is for war resources, damage to iceway infrastructure, justice for insults to the Lotus Confederacy etc
- Can be done through payment or labour ($10,000 an hour per member)
- Chinese members to conduct a burning of a Chairman Haters statue each week
- Chinese members are unbanned from the Global Iceway Initiative
- Chinese members recognise the Lotus Confederacy as the true China.
The treaty was rejected by the Chinese leadership and negotiations are still underway regarding the monetary reparations to the Lotus Confederacy.
Russian invasion of the Shandong Peninsula[]
Following the success of the Lotus Confederacy in the Sino-Lotus war and the Treaty of Beijing, the Russian Federation illegally invaded Shandong by request of RUSSIANARMY_1945 and established a puppet state in the city led by TheDeadlyArtist. This action was met with fierce international condemnation and outrage, especially from the Lotus Alliance nations. The puppet state was short lived and was forced to disband within minutes of its formation. The Lotus Confederacy successfully claimed the city following the departure of the Russian invaders, and removed the Russian Federation as an ally.
Restoration of the Chinese capital[]
