The Federation was a democratic nation based in San Francisco. With holdings in Arabia, Central Asia, Southern India, Angola, and Canada in addition to its main territory in the United States of America, it was the most populous nation of Season 4.
Together with the European Commonwealth, the Federation was one of the two dominant superpowers of S4.
Origins[]
The Federation began as the Republic of Deseret, founded by seurator1527 at the start of the 4th season of Globia along with former members of the Holy Britannian Empire.

Originally a protectorate of Iceland (the short-lived S4 incarnation of the HolyBritannianEmpire), the nation grew independent as the former HBE members moved on from Globia. After expanding rapidly, the nation grew to control the Western United States and Angola.
Growth and Development[]
Deseret continued to grow over the next few weeks, with colonies being founded in Nunavut and Australia and Samarqand becoming protectorates of the nation. At this time, the governors of Angola, Ysatace and Hpep, rebelled against the national government. this rebellion was put down quickly. After a short war with Corpona and the annexation of the Hormuz Caliphate, the nation grew to control much of Arabia. At this time, the nation changed its name to Deseret Commonwealth after joining the Commonwealth alliance. During this time of growth, Deseret continued to develop its lands, especially its possessions in the west of the United States of America. In addition to the capital of San Francisco, the cities of Vancouver, Portland, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City were founded, with Seattle being acquired from the former nation of the NSA. To connect the cities, the largest road and iceway system in Globia S4 were constructed.
The Federation[]
After the former leaders of the United States of America (led by hatersgonnahate8) left the nation to re-found Alekistan in the Caucuses region of Southern Russia, the Republic of Deseret absorbed the remainders of the erstwhile nation, making Deseret the first nation in Globia history to truly unify the United States of America. After reflecting on the multicontinental aspect of the nation, the name of the Republic of Deseret was changed to the Federation to reflect its new status as a decentralized union of provinces/governorates scattered across the globe. After the absorption of the United States, the former protectorates of Sur (led by Sk3o) and Samarqand (led by Blazer411) were fully integrated into the Federation.
Government[]
The Federation was unique among large nations for its fully democratic nature. The nation has a parliament (based in San Francisco) that handles all laws and initiatives of the nation. Presidents are from the leading party of the Parliament, with a no-confidence vote allowing a fresh president to be voted into office by the Parliament. All members of the nation are part of the Parliament, which was currently 12-strong. There were only two political parties. The 8-member strong Libertarian Party (formed as a merger of the Labour Party and the Liberal Party), a libertarian party which focused on expanding the people's freedoms, limiting the power of the federal government, and having equal rights for non-North American possessions, was led by the President and founder of the Federation, seurator1527. The 3-member strong National Front (formed as a merger of the Fascist Party and the Imperium), a far-right ultra nationalist militarist party, was led by the former American HeyItsWho. Due to their positions, the Libertarian Party enjoyed strong support in the non-North American possessions of the Federation and in areas far from the capitol, with the National Front enjoying great support among areas with strong federal government influence.
Thanks to the fact that the Libertarian Party and its leader seurator1527 ruled the Federation for the entirety of its existence, the Federation enjoyed an extremely decentralized government structure. Individual provinces/governorates had full regional autonomy to act and build as they see fit, with governors being appointed to settle and rule them. In addition, the nation had no taxes/tributes required of its citizens.
