The Venezuelan Socialist Union is an S8 nation in South America. Its capital is Guajira and is led by Supreme Leader IcyMC_. It has a strong relationship with the Guyanese Soviet Socialist Republic (GSSR) and The Communist Republic of the Philippines (CRP).
The nation is run by the Venezuelan Communist Party (VCP).
International Relations[]
The VSU has a stringent foreign policy, meaning that many nations are not even recognized by the VSU.
Nations founded or run on Communist ideology seem to automatically be recognized, while non-communist states must pass a number of strict criteria, which are unknown outside of the secretive VCP Leadership Council, though many outside observers have noted recognition is only granted to nations who offer something beneficial to the VSU.
The nations currently recognized by the VSU are:
- Guyanese Soviet Socialist Republic (GSSR)
- The Communist Republic of the Philippines (CRP)
- Bavarian Socialist Republic (BSR)
- Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY)
- Socialist Republic of Yodatown (SRY)
- Hatersbourg
- The Grand Oligarchy of Prussia
- Japan
- China
- Gotland
- Franco-Swiss Union
The VSU is a member of the United Nations, and a founding member of the Southern Treaty Organization. It hosts meetings for both of these organizations in La Uribia, the national senate building, which is planned to be constructed.
The nation is involved in the European-Border dispute, supporting the claims of the Bavarian Socialist Republic, Hatersbourg and the Franco-Swiss Union.
History[]
Communist Revolution[]
The Venezuelan Socialist Union was created following a revolution led by IcyMC_ and seurator1527, resulting in the overthrow of the Venezuelan Reich, led by fascist leader IcicleMC. The revolution was long and costly, with many Venezuelan citizens having to suffer through famine and disease, this led to the VSU adopting the national motto: "Through struggle, we persevere".
Leaders IcyMC_ and seurator1527 had a falling out early in the revolution, leading to the splitting of the Revolutionary Venezuelan Communist party into the Venezuelan and Guyanese Communist Parties. This falling out directly led to the division of the Venezuelan Reich into the VCU and Guyanese SSR and long standing tensions between the two following the success of the revolution.
